The BA386 provides a bright flashing warning signal in a plant or processing area where ambient noise levels may drown out an audible alarm. It is significantly less expensive than traditional Xenon devices, yet has a similar light output and flashes more rapidly – making it more immediately noticable. Available in five colors to enable multi-stage alarm level protocols. Factory Mutual and ATEX intrinsic safety certification enable it to be used in virtually any classified hazardous location. DA135 beacons offer multiple alarm modes to provide visual warnings in a variety of situations. A choice of five bright colors – including blue and white - plus single, dual and triple flash cycles. There's even a dual color option to warn operators of a relative change in status. Protective lenses appear clear until the LEDs are illuminated. Each beacon may be connected to a sounder and acknowledge/reset pushbutton to create a local alarm station. The electronics are totally encapsulated, and wiring connections are made in a separate terminal chamber. All control connections are fully isolated to simplify circuit design. Multi-color signalling comes to hazardous locations in the form of the LN870 light tower. Bright LEDS enable this design to be certified as intrinsically safe when used with the appropriate safety barriers — ask us about economical multi-channel isolating intrinsic safety barriers. Up to five lamp segments can be stacked and there are five different colors to choose from.

For high visibility indication both at a distance and from the side the DA180 Series of giant LED cluster lamps are hard to beat. A choice of six equally bright colors enable sophisticated alarm or status signalling schemes to be implemented in hazardous classified locations. Internal regulators limit current consumption to 20mA and make it easy to match these unique lamps to a wide choice of intrinsic safety barriers and isolators. Simple single-hole panel mounting with a rubber gasket achieves IP65 environmental protection. Tough polycarbonate lenses resist impact damage.

If an ATEX EEx 'd' electrical installation is acceptable the BExBG05D will provide a highly visible warning beacon to augment audible alarms in noisy environments. An alternative stainless steel pipe mounting kit is available. In the case of 24VDC powered units an end-of-line resistor or diode may be installed inside the beacon enclosure for line monitoring purposes. Ask about even brighter 10 and 15 joule versions.
