Now you can carry one versatile multimeter in both hazardous classified locations and regular non-classified areas. The 87V-Ex provides all of the commonly required functions for plant electrical maintenance in a robust package with a bright two-level backlit 4-½ digit and bar graph displays. This intrinsically safe version of the world's most polular multimeter is ATEX certified for use in Zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas, and can be directly connected to intrinsically safe loops and instruments (certain limits apply—see user manual). In addition to a comprehensive set of electrical test capabilities, it comes with a built-in thermometer using the included probe for direct temperature measurement.
