Mode 1 • Tanker Truck Personality Recognition
Confirms RTR clamp is correctly connected to the tanker itself—not falsely connected to other conductive metal objects such as the loading gantry or other parts of the truck not bonded to the container.
Mode 2 • Static Ground Verification
Confirms RTR clamp is connected to a verifiable static dissipative grounding point.
Mode 3 • Continuous Ground Loop Monitoring
Confirms clamp connection and ground connection is good throughout the transfer process by insuring loop resistance does not exceed 10Ω.
Control / Interlock capability includes two relay contacts for pump, valve, and PLC control integration, plus connection to devices such as strobe lights and horns confirming transfer is under way.
Hazardous location approvals includes CSA for the U.S. and Canada, compliance with the ATEX Directive for use in the European Community, and certification to IECEx standards for other international users.
