Designed to check the condition of static-dissipative footwear, the Sole-Mate is a simple to use device for all personnel entering hazardous (classified) locations. It tests continuity from the operator's finger to the floor plate – right through the static-dissipative footwear.

Installed at an entry point outside of the hazardous area, the system will provide a "pass" or "fail" signal dependent upon whether or not the measured resistance falls within the pre-set limits. Units for the U.S. market are calibrated to the ANSI Z41 SD Type II standard, but alternative measurement ranges are available to meet custom or other national standards.

The Sole-Mate system is self contained and battery powered for simple installation. Low battery warning is a standard feature, and a calibration test unit is available for periodic testing. Instruction boards are available in alternative languages.
