Description
The Nightstick XPP-5466R FORTEM intrinsically safe helmet light provides hands-free illumination for firefighters, rescue teams, and industrial emergency responders. This explosion-proof helmet light features independent lighting modes to help personnel see through smoke, monitor footing, and work around equipment in hazardous environments.
Dual-Light Visibility for Emergency Response
The forward-facing 250-lumen helmet flashlight has a 203-meter high beam distance. When used as an intrinsically safe fire helmet light, this strong beam can help cut through dense smoke. Output can also be adjusted down to 100 (medium) or 25 (low) lumens.
A separate 115-lumen floodlight points 45 degrees downward to illuminate footing and equipment. Users can select 115, 50, or 10 lumens, with the lowest setting serving as a survival mode.
Dual-light mode operates both beams simultaneously at 150 lumens for distance and area visibility. A rear-facing green LED on the FORTEM helmet light helps teammates identify personnel in low-visibility conditions.
A Hands-Free Hazardous Location Light With a Rugged Helmet Mount
The intrinsically safe helmet light’s 360-degree clamp mount fits virtually all fire helmets and side-brim hard hats while allowing precise beam positioning. Each FORTEM helmet light is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, and is dustproof, waterproof, chemical resistant, and rated for a 2-meter drop.
Two included CR123 batteries provide power for both the 250-lumen helmet flashlight and the 115-lumen floodlight.
